Thanks for your patience with my website that seems eternally under construction. I keep thinking we'll be ready to go live. Alas, the best laid plans....
This blog however contains information about all aspects of my work. Please ignore dates on posts. If it's on this blog, it's relevant. This is also the best place to check on new programs, work updates, and schedule changes. There will be more changes coming during 2013, including, I hope, my new interactive website, so do check back from time to time.
People who buy this album or download tracks are often dismayed to discover we did not include words to the chants in the packaging. No worries. Just email suzin@suzingreen.com and I'll send you a PDF with words, translations, and commentary.
I've always walked a dual path—my life as a musician and maker of art and my life as a teacher, therapist, coach, and guide. These days, I’m less drawn to making my own art, more pulled to helping others turn their lives into art. I suspect that at the end of the day, it’s all about healing—inner and outer—of ourselves, our communities, our planet, and given the amount of debris we’ve now sent into outer space, perhaps our solar system. We each have a role to play. For starters, I believe, we can work to live our lives as works of art, always honing, deepening, refining, releasing more of our inner beauty, becoming kinder and more wise. We’re human beings. We have a weight to us. We can’t help leaving footprints behind. But we can step lightly, so our only trace is something akin to the sweet scents of cedar, musk, jasmine and rose, and a stream of shimmering light.
